Envirosun design a range of solar hot water systems suited to Australian environment. Over time they extend their portfolio and expanded into the international market. All the while, they focused on designing the best and most appropriate systems – and only directly manufacturing those items and components that could not be better sourced elsewhere.
The Envirosun Thermosiphon solar hot water systems offer maximum efficiency and a cost-effective solution for most applications. These systems feature the traditional “tank-on-the-roof” configuration – an arrangment that was first deployed and commercially marketed around 1909.
Envirosun offer flat plate collectors and tanks manufactured in either vitreous enamel-lined steel or 444 stainless steel and equipped with electric back-up. Our systems are larger, save more energy, deliver more hot water and do so at far higher pressure.
The Envirosun pumped solar hot water systems offer greater flexibility, improved aesthetics and higher capacity. These systems only require the solar collectors to be installed on the roof with the storage tank situated at ground level or any other convenient and out-of-the-way location.
While pumped systems have been around for many years, modern electronics and materials have brought improvements in both function and reliability. Today’s Envirosun Split Systems adopt many of these technological advances and blend them with our collectors technology, to create our range of high-performance active solar hot water systems.
The Envirosun Split-Pumped solar hot water systems use a circulating pump and electronic microprocessor to transfer the heat absorbed by the solar collector to the separate storage tank. The circulating pump operates when the microprocessor determines that there is a useful gain to be made. The microprocessor takes information from temperature sensors on the solar collectors and in the storage tank.
The microprocessor also uses the sensor information to control a suit of over-temperature protection modes.
